Mannin Art Group Landscape Exhibition in Milntown Café

Wed, 07 Feb 2018 , 10am - 5pm

An exhibition of Manx landscape pictures by members of the Mannin Art Group will take place in the Milntown Café during February.

Colourful works, featuring not just Milntown and the Ramsey environs but also other parts of the Isle of Man are available to view and purchase at the Milntown Café. The Cafe is open from 10.00am until 5.00pm daily (except Tuesday) from Saturday 10th February (it will be open until 4pm up to and including Friday 9th February).

Mannin Art Group's publicity officer, Michele Edwin said, "we are delighted to have the opportunity of working with Milntown, both on this exhibition, on the forthcoming Festival of Flowers and during our annual painting day in their extensive and beautiful gardens. We would like to offer them our thanks for this opportunity."

Milntown Estate Manager, Richard Pinhorn commented “We are happy to be able to provide somewhere in the north of the Island for exhibitions such as this. Our grounds and the pictures complement each other beautifully. I was impressed by the standard of the work and hope that this will be the first of many such shows”.

A second collaborative event, the Festival of Flowers will take place at Milntown during Easter week.

Milntown boasts 15 acres of beautiful gardens and woodland which surround the magnificent mansion at the heart of the estate. The cafe is open daily (except Tuesdays) and offers breakfasts, lunches and tempting afternoon teas and treats all year round.
