Good Luck Juan

Wed, 29 May 2019

Today we said farewell to one of our Gardeners, Juan Quane, who has been a member of the Milntown team since April 2007, as he embarks on the next chapter of his career.

Since starting Juan has participated in, and sucessfully passed, a number of courses including Level 2 and 3 Workbased Horticulture, Chainsaw Course CS30/31 and the Working from Heights Assessment.

On leaving Juan commented the following,

"There have been many changes made to Milntown in the 12 years I have worked here - there wasn't even a café  when I started in 2007! The overall effect has been a real improvement. The Garden, for example, was a mostly spring flowering pace, but with planning and a lot of hardwork, working to organic principles, we now have something in flower for most of the year.

I have spoken to many different nationalities who have visited Milntown and recieved very good comments about the Estate. Some have said, 'it's the best Garden they have ever visited'.

Milntown has lots of plans for the future and I wish the Directors, management and staff every success".

Thank you for all your hard work and services over the year Juan, you will be missed by all and we wish you all the luck in the future.
