Set in a purpose-built conservatory, the Café has wonderful views of both the Walled Garden and the famous Winchester gates. The menu features a wide range of delicious home cooked seasonal dishes, light lunches, cakes and teas. It is the ideal place for morning coffee, a hearty lunch after a garden visit, or a relaxing afternoon tea.
Booking is essential, and we do ask that any dietary requirements are given at the time of your booking.
Tea, coffee and homemade cakes are available all day until last orders at 4.30pm.

Just had a lovely’s afternoon at Milltown. Just managed to get round the fantastic garden before the rain started. House tour was great and very enlightening of the estates history followed by tea and creamed sconce. Thanks to all for making this a very enjoyable afternoon.
A beautiful old historic house, lovely gardens to wander around and a fabulous restaurant/cafe. Great food, great quality and very reasonably priced compared to other eateries.
This is one of my favourite places on the island, the food is always delicious and very reasonably priced. All staff are so pleasant and nothing is too much trouble. The gardens are spectacular no matter what time of year you visit I would recommend Milntown to everyone, visitors and locals alike you won’t be disappointed.
