Summer Closure Dates – July & August 2026
As we head into one of our busiest and most exciting times of the year, we’d like to let our visitors know about a number of planned closures across July and August.
Milntown has become an increasingly popular venue for weddings and private celebrations, and we’re delighted to be hosting so many couples as they celebrate their special day with us. To allow these events to take place safely and exclusively, there will be a number of days where the Estate, Café, Gardens and Historic House will be closed to the public.
In addition, as many of you will know, Milntown sits directly on the world-famous Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT course. As a result, the Estate will also close during the racing period, as access to the site is not possible while the roads are closed.
Planned Closure Dates
Weddings:
- Saturday 18th July
- Saturday 25th July – Tuesday 4th August inclusive
- Friday 7th August – Tuesday 11th August inclusive
- Friday 14th – Early Close (last arrival at 1pm)
- Saturday 15th August
Manx Grand Prix / Classic TT
- Sunday 16th August – Friday 28th August inclusive
Reopening
- Saturday 29th August
We will be closed as usual for every Monday & Tuesday.
We always recommend checking our website and social media channels before travelling, as any additional closures or changes to opening hours will be shared there.
We’d like to thank everyone for their understanding and continued support. While these closures may cause a little inconvenience, they reflect another fantastic summer for Milntown, with beautiful weddings, special events and one of the Island’s biggest motorsport festivals taking place.
We look forward to welcoming you back to the Estate whenever we’re open, whether you’re joining us for lunch in the café, exploring our gardens, visiting the Historic House or attending one of our upcoming events.
