During the quieter winter months where the days are shorter and the weather is a bit more…Manx, we’ve decided to focus our opening hours around the times our customers visit us most, while bringing you more seasonal food, special events and different ways to enjoy Milntown.

House & Gardens – Winter Closures

Our gardens and historic house will close from 2nd November until 1st February. While the gates are closed, our garden team will be busy behind the scenes carrying out essential winter work, including significant tree work and the removal of deadwood throughout our woodland.

We’ll also be working on a couple of exciting new additions to the garden spaces, ready for visitors to enjoy when the gardens reopen in February.

Throughout the winter, we’ll be making the most of the season with even more experiences, special events, seasonal favourites and plenty of reasons to visit! Including our Festive Friday Afternoon Teas which will be running on the 27th of November, the 4th and 11th of December. Allowing guests to enjoy their afternoon tea in the festively decorated historic house.
